Hey! Before becoming a career coach, I was a Social Studies teacher just like you might be now. I loved those classroom moments, but I kept wondering what else was out there.

I used to think "Who'd hire a teacher?" But turns out, our teaching skills are exactly what companies want! All that lesson planning? That's project management. Presenting to tough crowds? We do that daily with 30 students!

Those skills landed me my first corporate role in Learning & Development, leading to where I am now in Career Development. Today I'm a Certified Professional Career Coach helping other teachers find their path beyond the classroom.

I've walked in your shoes, and I know exactly what this journey feels like. Whether you're just starting to think about a change or ready to dive in, I'm here to guide you through it - after all, who better to lead the way than a former history teacher?

Can't wait to help you write your next chapter!

Quality Career Support That Teachers Can Afford

When I was a single mom teaching full-time, I couldn't find affordable career transition help - everything was $600+. That's exactly why I created TeacherTrek: quality career guidance that fits a teacher's budget.

A 2022 survey found nearly half of teachers were thinking about leaving within two years. You're not alone in wanting change, and you shouldn't have to choose between career support and supporting your family.

Let's ditch that "just a teacher" mindset – you're a skilled professional with valuable experience that employers need. Whether you want to train corporate teams (like I do now), work in ed-tech, or lead a nonprofit, I'll help you make the move with confidence.

There are great jobs waiting for someone with your skills – jobs that will respect your time, value your work, and really see you. And I'm here to help you find them without breaking the bank.
